A Day In Hand have announced the the first anniversary of SSHH! That's Same Sex Hand Holding Saturday. It was on September 26th and it was the first event of its kind. The response was phenomenal apparently.
Over the last year same-sex couples, friends and family members have sent in pictures to www.adayinhand.com from around the world. Their pictures and testimonies reveal stories of hope and courage. After 6 months it was voted 4th Best Gay Event in the Pink Paper Reader Awards.
So... it's back on Saturday 25 September. Join in by holding hands somewhere publicly with someone of the same gender and send your pic to yourstories@adayinhand.com
