An Alderman in Amsterdam has announced plans to legalise gay-sex in Vondelpark, a public park, essentially because it’s always going to happen regardless of legality.
“Amsterdam’s beautiful Vondelpark in the centre of city draws hordes of summer visitors, families, skaters and joggers. But the park’s rose garden has become famous as a trysting spot for gay men looking for uncomplicated sexual encounters.” The full article is here.
I spent a day last summer in Amsterdam and did spend an hour wandering around Vondelpark but didn't notice anything - I was just enjoying the summer afternoon.
