Among the many freebies offered to athletes at the Olympic Village in Beijing were, according to press reports, 100,000 condoms. The gift from the IOC sparked a debate as to the benefits and pitfalls of pre-event sex and raised the delicate issue of condom size too. (As far as I'm aware, only standard size condoms were distributed at the games).
